A home away from home, after the school bell rings
New Shapes After School is a Tusla-registered after-school service for children aged 4 to 12, based at the ACE Enterprise Centre in Neilstown, Clondalkin. Open since May 2024, we've been welcoming local families every afternoon with a big hello, a healthy snack and a fun, structured programme — all in one happy place. We're registered with the National Childcare Scheme, so eligible families can use government subsidies towards fees.
Children get help with their homework, time to play outdoors in our garden, and plenty of creative activities — from arts and crafts to growing flowers and herbs, ball games, and even making their own fruity ice pops.
We keep things small, friendly and personal, so every child is known by name and every parent knows exactly how their child's day went. Our full Policies & Procedures Handbook is available to every family.

Painting, rock painting, making and creating — there's always something colourful drying on the rack.

The children grow their own flowers and herbs in our outdoor planting beds through the seasons.

Ball games and fresh air every day in our own garden and play area.
Cooking fun
Hands-on food fun like juicing fresh fruit and making our own ice pops — tasty and educational!
Messy play & science
Giant bubbles, cloud dough and homemade playdough — squishing, mixing and discovering how things work.

Breakfast Club
A bright, healthy start to the day for working parents — drop off early and head to work with peace of mind.
Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 9:00am
Early drop-off every school morning.

Safe, supervised walk to school
We bring the children to St Peter the Apostle Junior National School, Clondalkin.
Qualified, caring staff
Your child is looked after by our friendly, experienced team.

7:30am – 9:00am
Monday to Friday during school term, including the walk to school.
🏫 During school term
1:15pm – 6:00pm
Monday to Friday, with collection from St Peter the Apostle Junior National School.
☀️ School holidays & mid-term
9:00am – 2:00pm
Monday to Friday during summer, mid-term breaks and holiday weeks.
📅 We're closed on bank holidays, for one week in mid-August, and from 18th December until 4th January for Christmas. Ask us for the full opening calendar!
